STAFF REPORTS
Administration
– The Clerk-Treasurer will advertise for summer students early in April 2015
– J.L. Richards will update the Asset Management Plan – mainly with road upgrades.
– The Clerk-Treasurer will check the Water Charges By-Law regarding outstanding water accounts.
– Take the Lake Tour signs will be installed at Bass Lake Road and at Coleman Road.
– The Clerk-Treasurer reported on the AMO Gas tax report and the Standard Operating Procedure questionnaire.

– TransCanada Pipeline will schedule a meeting with Council sometime in April 2015.

Fire Department
– Chief Laitinen discussed his 2015 Fire Department Budget –
Repair is required on Unit 4 and Unit 2. Bunker gear, hoses and ladders must be tested.
A 5 year plan will be formulated for the next meeting.
– The Food Bank Collection will be held Saturday, April 28th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
– The Fire Conference is scheduled for this weekend, Gerry Belanger and Pete Nadeau will be in charge in the Fire Chief’s absence.
– The MVA invoice has been forwarded to M.T.O.

NEW BUSINESS continued
Council reviewed and approved the Leis Wood’s Hydro Petition. The petition will placed on the counter for support.
The Clerk-Treasurer submitted her letter of resignation effective March 31, 2016.

Public Works – Mayor Cleroux will request that Mr. Lefebvre and Mr. Jeff Barton attend a meeting to update Council regarding the proposed Crown Land purchase on the Montreal River. REGULAR MEETING MINUTES March 23, 2015 _____________________________________________ ________________________________
– Mayor Dan Cleroux advised the Works Department employees are working at thawing culverts and brushing along municipal roads.
– Mayor Cleroux met with Ontario Power Generation regarding the Spring thaw.
