 Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Council of the Township of Coleman held at the Council Chambers, 937907 Marsh Bay Road, Coleman Township, Ontario on Monday, July 14th, 2014 at 6:00 P.M.

ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA 

Motion 14-07-11 MOVED BY Lois Perry and SECONDED BY Susan Cote:

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves the agenda for the regular meeting of July 14, 2014 as presented: Carried.

DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OR PECUNIARY INTEREST 

Councillor Perry declared a conflict of interest with maters dealing with The Speaker and The Voice.

ADOPTION OF THE MINUTES

ACCOUNTS

BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE General Accounts in the amount of $48,694.84 be passed and paid. Carried.

STAFF REPORTS 

Works Departmenty 

– Mr. Brian Bigelow advised some roads (Nipissing, Refinery Townsite and Ferguson Roads) are breaking up. Mr. Bigelow will contact Miller Paving to discuss the matter.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves the Works Department Report submitted by Mr. Brian Bigelow, as presented: Carried.

Administration 

The Bass Lake Park Lawn Mower was taken to Brownlee for an overhaul.

The Summer Student will not be replaced as most of the work has been done.

The Clerk-Treasurer will cancel the extra cell phone

Council approved the Emergency Plan update.

Mr. Bigelow will push back snow on Murphy Mill Road when required during the Winter months.

BY-LAWS

BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 14-18 being a by-law to amend By-12-06 being a by-law to provide for maintaining land in a clean and clear condition be read a first and second time. Carried.

Motion 14-07-18 MOVED BY Susan Cote and SECONDED BY Cathy Marcella:

BE IT RESOLVED THAT By- Law 14-18 be read a third and final time and be passed and enacted.

Carried.

Alteration of Land By-Law Review was deferred to the next regular meeting.
